    Today i went to both bowne park and kissena park fishing and I didn't get a bite at all in both lakes. Spent an hour at both and not a thing at all I am shutting freshwater Down until May unless it's one to two weeks of no rain and lows in the 50s at night. Hoping for one day to go...

    My first fish of 2025 a big Bullhead catfish on worms. I did have several hits before this fish. Probably catfish as well. I had to cast way out. Was nothing near the bank. Only hits is casting way out. Not sure when my next trip is with the cold and the rain
