Maine and New Hampshire went against findings of ASMFC I guess maybe real fishermen might know more than people who sit behind a computer interesting that they protect them when they have eggs and ASMFC lets people fish when fish are spawning- hawk375

I am sorry that you people believe these plans they are not science they are math problems with bad numbers being used these plans are all about conservation equivalency which is now leading up to us having 16 inch sea bass 19 inch fluke so most of the fish we catch must be wasted this is a...- hawk375

Why don't you all go and look at the striped bass act of 1979 and 1984 and realize that the ASMFC was set up to find the answer to this problem so the fact is they did a horrible job as almost 50 years later they have no answers. and people realize there management might be the reason other...- hawk375

secretary of commerce could never shut fishery because if they do ASMFC becomes federal agency and would have to follow Magnuson then they lose all there rights to not be challenged in court by the people they put out of business- hawk375
