No, can't say that I do - and I know of many such boats in my area. It's odd, because I've fished out of Freeport for a ton of years, and have never seen this boat. Maybe he's recent transplant?

That's a bunch of hours on a gas engine, for sure. However, assuming it doesn't burn oil, those kind of hours are indicative of an owner that takes excellent care of his boat - and doesn't push it to be a speedboat, which no Shamrock is. A quick compression test would tell the story, regarding remaining engine life. I bet she's got at least another 500 to 800 hours left in her. Those recent repairs and upgrades are all in about $1500 in parts alone - not counting labor.

Also, the beam is 8', not 8'6". Still, a very nice boat that can really take the punishment of a bad day offshore - for relatively short money. I've had mine for 26 seasons, so I do know this hull's capabilities fairly well. 8-)

You don't want to trailer a 26' inboard boat with a deep keel, trust me. Its a handful for my hauler, even with his $50K hydraulic trailer. That reminds me, I have to set up my haul out/haul home appointment with Hippie Chic. Thanks!
