you don't seem to be having a lot of success - however - I forgot what the cost of a plumber is up there - I get 'em to come in & do stuff like that for $25

Well Im not in onacock here I can do basic house fixes my self Dad taught me well. For $25 you can get an onacock plumber to replace a vanity top/all new lines/vales/drain to trap?

I spent much time correcting a leaking bath faucet… if someone had to come it would’ve taken 3 X as long to figure it out… cellfish…

Plus the $’s to repair And parts.

Up here we speak plainly.…….
$350 in and out the door total.

Wherever you are….you get what you pay for and only an educated consumer gets that worth.

Yes, easy job for some but some will meet a challenge.

If you can do it yourself, good , if you cannot…get a good honest respected pro.

I do both, However would never allow a person who quoted $25 dollars.

Challenge from the get go I was unsure what I would need Now I know easy fix no need for paid help

Yup!

I've had him replace two toilets (& take the old ones to the dump), replace two sinks with all the assorted plumbing that goes along with that on three different occasions for $25 each visit. I bought all the parts

Sure. I could have done it myself (I've done it in the past) but at $25 a hit - why would I bother?

And - it's all done in like 30 minutes each time, Correctly.

I can't help it if the northeast has overpriced plumbers (well overpriced everything).
Which is why I've done it myself in the past.
Not anymore.............

:)

neither - or - you're just plain old jealous - scroll through the what are you doing thingy - it's in there

He has a regular plumbing job & swings past here on his way home. EVERYTHING is cheaper out of the northeast. Charges me $30 an hour.

Want his number although may charge slightly more then $30 an hour because of the travel involved.
