Beautiful sunset at the light, yeah BFD right? But look at the barometer!!! I just went past mine and thought, "Crap, barometer is broken!! Never seen it that high! Wait, barometer #2 is higher than I've ever seen it either! Well they both were a bit lower than what my neighbor's is reading and the lighthouse barometer!!

one noticeable thing here bout south Florida, “smell”, the ocean hasn’t any aroma, very little at times… inland too, trees of palm are not making any smells either… a lot of oak here, but the never drop their 2-3” leaves… grass smells only wen fresh cut, but that doesn’t last long… northeast has attractive smells, especially in the fall…the ocean too, all the time… C22…

Agreed, when I weed whack crabgrass, close relative to Bermuda Grass, the smell is nowhere as lingering as the other grasses and weeds...

That was always of paradox to me. We spend hours and money on getting rid of crabgrass up North, and then some of us run down to FL and go out of their way to nurture the stuff. Go figure...
