Gas prices 2019 and beyond

Crap, all the small motors, and any outboard, don't even "like" 10% Ethanol, and most small engines have clear DO NOT USE 15%!!! That $0.10 per gallon savings on the price of the gas, may certainly wreck far more financial damage in your engines...

I've been using Startron for years, but even that didn't work in cheapo weed whackers, was lucky to get more than 1 season out of them. When I splurged and got a Stihl one, I started using Stihl premixed canned gas for that, and generic premixed canned gas for all my small gas motors, chain saw, and leaf blower. No small motor ethanol issues now for 4 years. Really worth the extra $ since I use the chain saw maybe 5 times a year, but I know it's going to start right up and I'm not going to be

Last season I switched to ethanol-free for the boat, and the only things that now get 10% are the lawn mowers and snowblower, which are laced with copious amounts of Startron and stabilizer.
The lawn mower, maybe as you use it at least once a week, use the premix as the alcohol isn't just sitting there causing problems. It's constantly being run. But the snowblower gets used maybe 2 or 3 times during the winter. Why not use the Stihl premixed or is it's like mine, the Stihl without the oil as it's a 4 cycle. Then at the end of the winter, simply run it out and do your usual summerization.

I should have said, in the lawnmower, use gas with ethanol since it is run constantly. It can probably digest that stuff. The problem is when it sits for any length of time.

What the article isn't saying is the damage E15 will do to things like your boat, laawnmower, etc. For me, I use Trufuel in my small garden motors like my powerwasher and my gas hedge clipper.

The other thing is - I know of one gas station locally (it's in Wyandanch IIRC), that sells alcohol free gas. It goes for something like $9/gal and it's 100 octane. This stuff burns really hot and could damage an engine not designed for it. So beware.
