What is this?So whos on there?
I enjoy FB. I have a limited number of "friends", and out of the less than 80 total on FB I "unfollowed" over 60 of them as I did not care for reading someone else's political BS or had no idea who in hell the pictures of their relatives or friends were. (For the uninitiated, unfollowed just means that someone who is your "friend" on FB can post stuff to their hearts content, but you will not see it. They do not know you "unfollowed" them. OTOH, unless they unfollow you, they do get anything you post. ) But enough of that. I remain on FB because both my old federal agency and my old reserve unit have FB pages and I can stay in touch without having to "friend" others that frequent those pages unless I want to, which I have. I also check FB daily for pages on hunting, fluke fishing, kayaking, ship modeling, and 1/350 and 1/400 models that automatically come up on my FB page and a lot of the additional content that just comes up have to do with these hobbies. I have also purchased off ebay and other websites interesting stuff that comes up on my FB pages.
That said, if one is concerned with security, keep in mind that I am one of the millions that the chicoms hacked since I had a security clearance for decades. If a hacker wants you, the hacker gets you. I don't feel belonging to FB necessarily increases that likelihood. And still another reason to belong is that NYangler.com has a FB page LOL !!
