The never ending chat thread, chat about anything That your up too

Woke up to water on the floor in kitchen at the fish tank. Turn into all hands on deck ( me n Mary) fish tank leaking and concerned it’s going to bust.

Mostly concerned we may loose our two really cool fish we love, I took some of their cultured water and siphoned into buckets. Drained rest of take and got it out. It was about to pop. Very old Hex tank.

Headwater out to get a new tank for our two fish and after just finishing up about an hour ago , everyone very happy

What kind of fishes you got in there?
Shubunkin, type of Goldfish..... very hardy fish.

The live longer than many of all the other fish I have tried in my tanks over the years.
somewhere 2- 4yrs.

I just finished up from about 7am, had to break down the set up and set it back up since I put the stand together wrong, all good now.

The fish were not phased at all, I transferred them into buckets with a aerator twice and they are fine. Its important to use the same water they were in while they are relocated.

All good now, a lot of work but fun.

I had an eel type fish in my tank years ago….he lived a long time and ate every fish we ever put in there, one by one they would always disappear ….pricey fish. So we just started buying 10 goldfish at a time and he would eat them in a month, it was cool.

He lived about 7yrs.
Good fish.
