Turning over a new leaf in 2025 and its about time, too.

As much as I love Fishing and collecting fishing gear, it takes up too much of my time and I am struggling to keep up with the everyday basics such as cleaning and maintaining my home, so something has to give. I will be getting rid of my collection.

Below is a list of what's available.

Thanks for reading and understanding...

1. Dustpan and brush

2. Sponges

3. Febreeze spray

4. Mop and bucket

5. Window cleaner

6. Vacuum

7. Dishwashing liquid

8. Laundry detergent

9. Fabric softener

10. Laundry baskets

11. Toilet brush

12. Cleaning sprays

13. Scrubbing brushes

Serious inquiries only.

Please don't insult me with any low-ball offers.

Huh! No offers?

If your wife's birthday is coming up these would make a great "package" gift.

Maybe I can sweeten the pot. Buy the entire lot and I'll throw in a free whisk broom (barely used- like new condition) that I just found in the bottom of the hall closet.

I'm sure she will be delighted by your thoughtfulness! 8-)

Too bad it isn’t an M. I’ve been looking for one for a while.
I think the Trevala S rods are very underrated. Great factory rods in my opinion. They had some reported issues with the reel seats but my three rods didn’t give me any trouble. I found this one second hand so I jumped on it because they stopped making them. I’ve since bought multiple tog rods and I am currently having a custom Century Weapon Jr built so there is no need for this one anymore . Too many rods on holders in the garage

This is a looking to buy and not a for sale post

I recently had an unfortunate event where I snapped off the top 8-10” of my 7’ spinning rid that I keep on board the boat in case I come across schools of bluefish or chase bunker pods.

In the off season I’ll do my research and try to find a suitable replacement at a good price

In the meantime I’m looking for a temporary replacement in the 7-8’ range if anybody has something they are looking to move at a good price. Not looking for anything custom or super high end

Got anything in your rack Mr Flukinit?? 😎😎

Chinacat. I know it's not a permanent fix and you will lose action but until you get your new rod perhaps do this if you have the tip. I took a drill bit that fit inside the blank and tip and epoxied it in. You might want to cut a part off the bit. I left it full size on mine. It work really well for me but it wasn't the tip.

Thanks Crabman
Oh I assure you that the broken rod will be repaired and repurposed into something 😎

O.K. Mitch - here's what I have.

First, a 7' St. Croix Premier "Surf Series" spinner, in ML. I used to plug the bay with this rod, caught a ton of schoolies on it. Works a pencil or Whopper Plopper like it was made for it. Matches perfectly with any reel in the 2500 to 5000 class. I used it with a first-gen Spheros 4000, perfecto! Would also make a terrific ocean fluke jigger, if spinning is your thing. Was $199 new. Mint condition, cork grips, blank a gorgeous deep grey-black. Wraps black with red trim. No rust discoloration under the wraps, I take care of my stuff, as you've seen first-hand.

Second rod: Shimano Trevala MH spinner, more powerful than the St. Croix above. slightly shorter than you asked for at 6'6", but it will sling an AVA 47 as far as you'd want to throw it. Once caught a 29lb bass on it, retrieving a snagged bunker to the boat. Boy, was that fish surprised! I used it with a gen-2 Penn Spinfisher 5500, a very potent bass killing setup. EVA grips. Was $179 new. Blank a very pretty multi-layered "internal" graphite wrap, almost iridescent in the sun. Again, minty condition - super clean.

Your choice $75 each, take 'em both, two for $130. With these two you would have your inshore spinning bases totally covered.

Best, Pete
