Yesterday.

It's interesting that they have a stack of beads to count the people going into the tower vs the ones coming out.

I guess they were one short that day.

Very surprised their insurance carrier didn’t make them lock the door; ours is locked per insurance instructions.

Honestly? I only heard about the incident. I'm not familiar with the details. So I have no idea about the specifics of how the base jumper's chute failed to open.

It does seem a lot for any place to be responsible for people who want to test gravity. Honestly, there's a bridge nearby that's owned by the government who wouldn't have liability. So how come a lighthouse society would be on the hook?

On a related note. One should, (or shouldn't, if this kind of thing skeeves you) check out the movie Golden Gate. Depression, and mental illness is just a horror.

No, but what is interesting I can't find anything artier the event identifying the person or whether or not it was a suicide. Anyone see a final resolution here?
