I fished the first 3 hours of the incoming tide this morning.I caught some short fluke and of course there was no shortage of sea robins I was also rewarded with 3 weak fish one keeper at 19" and a 25" 5 1/2 lb. fluke.I guess thats not bad considering the way fishing has been in Jamaica bay lately.

Many Porpoise cruising Jamaica bay for the last couple of years and the fluking has not been good since.

I loved fishing with my Dad who passed at the age of 59 and agree any day out with him was a great day but the fishing it self was not a great success.

That is not what I would call a good day out.

Are the Fluke in the back or out front?

I have been fishing that bay since the early 70's and for 30 some odd years had great flounder trips.

That is just being an Ass.

I loved spring flounder fishing in Jamaica bay gave it up about 12-13 years ago.There is really no point going for something that is no longer there.

Neither have I.

I fish Jamaica Bay all the time.I have not heard or seen a flounder there in a long time.

Uncovered the boat last week and started getting engines ready will finish up tomorrow I will be on the Bass opening day!

I have been running ethanol gas in my outboards for over 20 years with no problems.

A little early yet.

That looks more like rod varnish over those wraps I dont think epoxy over that will work.
