There are probably 25 “ lobster” pots on the Shinnecock reef now , up from a handful last year. I’ve spoken with DEC enforcement and they said “ lobster” gear is legal there, sea bass pot well so there seems to be a correlation between the amount of gear and lack of fish. Sucks.
