Got out this morning & headed straight to the race to catch the tide, first drift put a 30" slot bass on ice. A few more drifts & another bass released at boatside, then the bluefish moved in. Released a typical big race bluefish after netting, then donated 3 bucktails to the hungry bastards...

Got out early this morning with the intent of harassing the stripers, during the last of the flood tide. I guess it may have been the north wind, but old Mother Nature stuck out her hand & stopped the flow of the flood tide about an hour before expected, total for my effort was two dropped fish...

Great fish & fun to catch, but in the Race in 100' of water after a couple of those brutes my old bones are done.

Cleared early around the house, but who knows on the water, missed the tide anyway, I guess make a decision & live with it
