    The only "4WD" access permit for Jones Beach State Park allows one to park at the "construction dock" which is well inside the inlet. Hopefully there will NEVER be 4WD access at JBSP. Only lawyers would benefit.

    Happy to see two days. Not for the kids, but it will allow a lot more to make it when they work Saturdays. Plus, one year I had to put it in 4WD to get out of the church parking lot. All melted the next day.

    Yes, rather than charge a nominal fee to us peasants, the gubmint hires sharpshooters to bait them and jacklight them and allegedly donates the venison to the poor although some have reported seeing carcases rotting. At least its a little better than the poisoning done to deer at Connetquot.
