New tackle bag
Zippers are really getting stuck on the kayak bag after a third full season. I wish I could find a bag that closed up with velcro ! (Not enough material for me to replace the zippers with velcro myself.) May go to Walmart for this $16. cheapie-- Okeechobee Fats Soft-Sided Fishing Tackle...- pequa1

Read about large #'s of seals out by Orient
Times are a changing. This past year and the year before there was a pod of adult dolphin and even a 7' sand tiger shark right off peoples' docks in Matzohpizza. When I still had a motorboat I regularly saw both seals and sharks at the Big M. I root for the day to see a shark of any species...- pequa1

First fall surf trip
Open town sandy beach, no weed, light breeze at my back, no sweep, no bait, no fish but some birds occasionally diving and in close. The temperature rose nearly 20° while I was there this morning.
