Found Some New Fluke Hooks To Try Out
Pete, those look like the type of hooks I prefer for tog. Think they'd hold up? If they duel to a draw with Gammies, I'd be hesitant using them for blackfish. That's the one....After seeing it, I have to agree. It will be way too much for my Daiwa. I think I'll be sticking with the paddle handle. If you have no other use for it, it might find a home on one of my Daiwa Lexa 300's. Waiting to hear back from Big Joe about lunch in Freeport on Saturday ?- Savvy18

Pete is right. The reel was never a good fit for the rod I bought it to match up with. I had Capt. Richie build me a CTS BS 702 and we cut some off the tip of the blank to make it more suitable to jig deep fluke with up to 5 or 6 ounces of lead. I had also hoped to use it for jigging tog. New Fluke-Intended Dark Matter Rod
Flukinit- I had spoken to Skinner about making his rod for us guys who are vertically challenged (like myself) and feel extremely uncomfortable with rods in excess of 6'6".
