Chillin’ patiently waiting for BBQ 😂👍

Golden Retriever. More ginger color than most. He is unique the bomb doge!!
He has great color, I love when they stand apart with a more unique coat.
Some call that a Mahogany Golden, rare.

Jack is like that, he is more rusted…it’s called a Dudley, his pigment is different,
Rather than black nose, brown eyes, pads and trim he has pinkish red with green eyes

Mr. Bear can be shown and bred for AKC with proper documentation however Jackpot being a Dudley cannot even though he is from a pure breed litter, we like him amd picked him for the distinct look.

Jackpot says hi to Mr. Bear.

Mr Bear was playing lacrosse in the back yard… did a big jump to catch the ball, landed, and came over limping. Thought maybe he had an acorn stuck in his paws, but after looking nothing there. So maybe a little twist. He’s at 50% or so, still wants to run but a little lag and hop, not whining or crying at all. Called the Vet and they gave me an anti-inflammatory for the next few days see how that works for him. If still persists will bring to the vet mid week.

is he holding leg up while walking?

Something like that happened to Max my then 12 year old Springer Spaniel after chasing/catching rabbits. Turned out to be a torn ACL.

Slight limp he can put weight on it and walk, maybe a sprain, hopefully not a torn muscle. Seems a little better this morning just gave him the morning anti-inflammatory but will see in the next couple of days.
