Today me and my father went fishing and it was good. I was using the diamond jig and my Dad had bait. My dad only had two fish the entire trip but both were keepers a ling and a fluke. I had a short fluke a sea Robin and five short sea bass. Today was a mixed bag of porgies mackerel sea bass fluke Ling. Next trip weather permitting is this Saturday.

I also miss fishing with my Dad. He's 96 with dimensia. His face lights up when I show him the latest issue of Long Island fisherman!

I loved fishing with my Dad who passed at the age of 59 and agree any day out with him was a great day but the fishing it self was not a great success.
