Yes, I get that and was messing with BM cause he said it WAS coming WAY to early in the gameIf you've watched past hurricanes, almost all of them die out to no worse than a Cat 1 when they reach us. The sea water isn't warm enough to support a CAT 2 or 3. Hurricanes require a surface sea water temp of somewhere around 80 or better to develop that far. Right now, the water temp around Islip is 76.5. We might very well get a good storm out of this. But I can't see a CAT 2 or 3. And also don't forget, if it passes to the East of us, we're on the good side with much less storm surge.
