You’re as bad as me. I was walking the scrub of Oak Beach looking for bones at work.
I just made my first pass mowing the lawn and a guy in a really cool F250 pulls up and says he’s doing seal coating down the street. I said give me a free estimate. He started at $850, I said no fucking way my wife would shoot me he’s like can you do cash? I can do it for $600.
I told him no I had it done a couple years ago for $275

The HOV (High-Occupancy Vehicle) lane access program for low-emission vehicles is ending on October 1, 2025, in New York, impacting the Long Island Expressway (LIE) HOV lane rules for drivers who previously had a Clean Pass sticker. This federal program allowed electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles to use the HOV lane even with a single occupant, but Congress has not reauthorized it. Starting October 1st, these vehicles will need to meet the standard occupancy requirements (two or more occupants) to use the HOV lane.
