Weather

Rain until 6am then clearing 67. High 82 low 66. Starting Monday and going thru all of next week and depending upon how fast it gets out of here looking at swells into next weekend and the following week.
Was more like a heavy mist here. less than another 1/8". Fortunately with the cooler nights I won't have to waste water on my zoysia lawn but still watering the flowers

got up too late to paddle, just going to watch some games and enjoy the pool. No need for AC here yet at all. A gorgeous day and judging from the forecast, pool will remain open until Wednesday with us in it through Tuesday September 30th ! Latest we have ever continued to swim ! If this is global warming maybe not so bad for us aging pequans !
On another note, last night's excursion in the still new Maverick garnered 40mpg without really trying. Averaging mid 30s and its only going to get better after breaking in. This hybrid kayak (and hopefully future dead deer) carrier is already easily getting twice the mileage my Ranger ever got.

Got up to 84 today tied record last set in 1954. Today was a great beach and pool day. I don't see any rain in the forecast at all. Monday to Friday 5 to 11 ft seas.

The colored bars next to the high and low temperatures on the weather forecast image represent the temperature range for that day.

  • The length of the bar visually shows the difference between the low (left end) and high (right end) temperature.
  • The color of the bar usually corresponds to the typical weather or temperature conditions:
    • Orange/Red/Yellow (like the ones shown for today, Monday, and Tuesday): Typically indicate warmer temperatures.
    • Green/Blue (like the ones shown for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday): Typically indicate cooler or more moderate temperatures.
