Open town sandy beach, no weed, light breeze at my back, no sweep, no bait, no fish but some birds occasionally diving and in close. The temperature rose nearly 20° while I was there this morning. Tried bucks, tins, plugs, rubber shad. Did see two guys dragging a fish back when I first got there, striper or blue ? Never saw anyone else even get a hit. Really nice day though with only half a dozen people on the whole beach. Finally tried my adaptive cruise control with lane keeping on the Maverick. I literally did not have to steer which I found really scary at times on the causeway.
Averaged over 35mpg so there's that. Will give Mr. Striper a few more times to commit suicide but Bambi's grandparents are hopefully awaiting in a week or two as well.
