Political correctness has no place in science. I was unable to publish a paper after covid because it was based on a particular HLA antibody that was common among only African Americans. I was surprised that none of the Watson Obits to date had anything about Rosalind Franklin snub by Watson & Crick on the Nobel Prize. "The X-Ray Image" we all see was taken by her. I met Watson at Cold Spring Harbor; he hit on every hot woman at the seminar, LOL...
