Song remakes

Yes.
I'm rediscovering Melissa Etheridge.

It's been awhile.
No Red involved....

She breathes new energy into these.
Last one (Leader of the Pack) is an absolute killer.

excellent.......................

watch the drummer (Sina from Germany) - 18 years old - outstanding - not even born when this was released

listen to Clapton's guitar work starting arounf the 3:59 part. This is what makes him GOAT. Every note perfect. Every note clearly heard.

I mean don't just listen to that. The whole preformance is brilliant. Inculding Billy Preston's keyboard work.

Dave Edmonds on guitar to George's right
Carl Perkins (who wrote the song) also on guitar sharing lead riffs on his left
George Harrison (like that needed to be pointed out) front & center on vocals & shared lead guitar

Rock Opera Tommy by the Who about a deaf, dumb & blind boy who miraculousy regains all of it.

A double album trimmed down to 30 minutes - by musicans who were probably born 30 years after it was originally written & recorded it.

If you've got the time & are familar with the original recording - listen to it all the way through.
If you're not familiar with it - listen & appreciate its comlexity.

If you have a modicum of musical history & appreciation for it stay with it - you'll be glad you did.

It's complicated.
It's brilliant.

The effort to put this together spanned a year. Recommended to listen/warch on something other then a phone to fully appreciate.
