Whats going on in the World

Uh, why he’s been arrested ?? It’s widely known, all the news networks are reporting why.

Most of the news networks are doing 99% underage girls and Epstein and 1% what he's actually charged with.

Even the article you quoted dances around it. A vague mention more than halfway through and then panders to the salacious for the rest of it.

He was arrested on suspicion of “misconduct in public office” which apparently is a crime in the U.K. It seems he shared confidential information with Epstein back in 2010-11 and this came to light due to releases of some of the Epstein files.

The Wall Street Journal reported last week that Gu and Zhu Yi, a fellow American-born figure skater who now competes for China, were paid a combined $6.6 million by the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau in 2025 for "striving for excellent results in qualifying for the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics." In all, the two were reportedly paid nearly $14 million over the past three years.

"I certainly think that someone who grew up in the United States of America who benefited from our education system, from the freedoms and liberties that makes this country a great place, I would hope they want to compete with the United States of America," Vance said on "The Story With Martha MacCallum."

"So, I'm going to root for American athletes. I think part of that is people who identify themselves as Americans. That's who I'm rooting for in this Olympics."

Three Silicon Valley engineers were arrested and charged with stealing trade secrets from Google and other U.S. technology firms and transferring sensitive data to unauthorized locations, including Iran, federal prosecutors announced Thursday.

Samaneh Ghandali, 41, Soroor Ghandali, 32, and Mohammadjavad Khosravi, also known as Mohammad Khosravi, 40, all of San Jose, were arrested Thursday, according to the Department of Justice (DOJ).

So, let me see if I'm understanding this ...

Communists always cheat in global competition to prove their system is the best. As if winning a ski race or a hockey game proves the qualities of an economic system. To be fair, I guess it may. Considering that the US usually does well in the Olympics without state sponsored cheating.

Now, in this case we have China hiring American mercenaries to try to make themselves look good.

What does that say about their system?

Sounds capitalist AF to me.

To watch the news, one would think he's been arrested for boinking minors. The reality is he disclosed financial information. So basically the charge is related to insider trading. Which is an actual crime. As opposed to having awkward photos that embarrass the elites.

It's telling that the media chooses to focus on the salacious, and the real crime gets kind of an offhand mention with about zero details. Sex sells, and that's what draws the clicks.

LOL, let’s start hearing the whines about that Liberal US Supreme Court appointed by Biden!!!

Supreme Court Strikes Down Trump’s Sweeping Tariffs

In a major setback for President Trump’s economic agenda, the court ruled that he could not invoke the International Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977 to set tariffs on imports.

Nooooo.

Let's celebrate that we finally have a court that follows the law instead of their political opinions.

Something the left can't conceive of. Especially when the court rules against their marxist and social agenda.

Yes, and can’t wait for the long list of blatantly unconstitutional EOs like voiding birthright citizenship start trickling through…

Frankly I'm not thrilled with rule by XO. For one reason is that they can be just as easily flipped by the next executive, and also F the Republican party for not turning this into law.

But I am thrilled that he's challenging assumptions and the current malaise of politics. If he accomplishes anything, please, dear Gawd, let it be the destruction of the career politician.

"Vermont tried to turn foster licensing into an ideological screening process—conditioning the ability to serve vulnerable children on compelled speech and mandatory adherence to the government’s preferred views," said Josh Dixon, lead attorney for the Center for American Liberty, a civil liberties nonprofit which brought a lawsuit against DCF, told Fox News Digital.

Some investors, though, said the administration should be able to replicate the tariffs in time by leaning on other legal authorities, suggesting the long-term impact of Friday's ruling may be muted.

“I think the Trump administration has contingency plans in place," said Jeff Leschen, ‌managing director at Bramshill Investments in Florida, adding investors needed time to digest the news. "I don’t expect there will be major revisions to the S&P targets for the year.”

Interesting, no comment regarding a payback. Silent on that.
