Uconn

ESPN star Stephen A. Smith blasted Auriemma for the incident in an X post.

"That was some straight B.S. from the GREAT Geno Auriemma. Never — ever — thought I’d see the day when the greatest woman’s college coach in history would go down so CLASSLESSLY!!! Horrible look, and should be called out for it. He got OUTCOACHED," Smith wrote. "Plain and simple. And gets in her face like she did something wrong to him instead of being gracious. Had Dawn Staley acted like that we would be all over her."

Auriemmas arrogance lost that game. His team was not prepared and he acted like a douchebag afterwards. Great example!
Sad example. Frustrated it was a good old physical confrontation. And he did not coach for it. His lack of study and preparation put his girls in a bad spot.

Always told my kids.........................DO NOT left a referee, umpire, judge, etc determine the outcome of a game. Step up.

He needs to take responsibility. And I thought it was just the youth of today...........

UConn advances to the championship game. 👍👍👍
Feeling much better tonight😎
That was an all around full team performance by the UCONN Men!!!
No single superstar
Just a great team effort
I love when all the studio analysts tell me game after game how Uconn has no chance 🤣🤣
No way we can beat UCLA
No way we can beat Michigan State
No way we can beat Duke
No way we can beat Illinois
I’m sure theres no way we can beat whoever the winner of Arizona vs Michigan is 👍👍👍

Glad we had plenty of these on hand

Definitely played a great close defensive game and if a few more shots fell, who knows, maybe they pull it off
They gave it all they had so no shame in that one in hanging with a team that was blowing everyone else out

Disappointed but still happy and proud of the year they had

MI figured out how to put a team together in todays world of NIL and the transfer portal.
Good for them

Unfortunately thats the new model of college sports and its going to come down to every team looking 100% different every year rather than getting to keep and watch kids grow and develop like Zuby Ejifior and Alex Karaban

Yeah....those days are over. Michigan has mastered the transfer portal. That's college basketball.
