Time just goes way to fast . . .

Oh and another thing cause I am getting sleepy now lol...........When I was a kid I thought I could retire at 60. Oh hell no, boy did I get that part wrong. I will be working until I just I cannot physically work anymore. I told my sons the coordinates of my favorite fishing spot to let me free whether it's ashes or a cinder block or two depending on how much I weigh. 8-)

Don’t sweat it, all that retirement stuff will all work out

Some of the things I have noticed happening is I cannot stay up late anymore. Granted I work a lot then take care of my parents and get up early in the morning, but I just cannot seem to get past 9 p.m. anymore. Also I don't eat as much as I use to. I would be able to eat a half of a pizza pie, now I just eat one slice. I seem to be spending a lot of time at the grocery store now getting healthy organic veggies. I am more into growing my garden and identifying all the birds in the area. I have zippo desire to go to a bar, but if we had a Noreast.com or

Hi Guys,
So next month I'm going to be 60! Yup, it was hard for me even to type that number. When I was young and someone was 60, I would say to myself that is old and they listen to old music. But now here I am.....almost 60:rolleyes: I physically don't feel like I am 60, I still listen to the same southern rock jams that I love from 30 years ago. I do have some gray hair now that show up and a few wrinkles on the side of my eyes but I still don't feel like I am almost 60. Yikes, I am not sure how I am going to handle this, it could go either way,:)
Wait until you 70 and you think, I ain't 60 anymore as you're faced with a task you know you could do in your early 60s, but it's sketchy now at best. Brought the boat to the yard yesterday for spring commissioning and wondered how many more springs I had in me...

Maureen and Joe you have a phenomenal garden for them growing in pots!(y) You have now inspired me to try pots this year. I had to move into a "loft/attack" in my parents house to take care of them and I had visions on doing a rooftop garden this year because there is a very large window up there I can get in and out of to plant the pots on the roof. I just have to come up with a plan to make them straight because there is a slant. Hmmm, I might have to set up some kind of a safety net to incase I slip off the roof.

Barb, stay off the roof. As you get older your balance is not as good. Perhaps consider a window flower box?

Mix this all up in the soil ,,,,,,,,,Barbra the bigger the pot the better AND NEVER LET THE POTS Try OUT and a big plant veg ,,,, only one plant in the middle of the pot only one plant and use good potting soil and dry cow chit,,,, hope this helps you maureen says hi  . ><)))):>

Well Matt you forget I am a stubborn Taurus. :sneaky: I know it is dangerous, but I refuse not to have a garden. Moving into the attack was one sacrifice I made, but to not have a garden to put me in my happy place is not going to make me happy. This is the window I will be going in and out of. Underneath that roof is just a sunroom, therefore I cannot do anything to heavy up there. I am thinking laundry baskets with burlap and soil on top of something to keep it off the roof that is not heavy. I also have to figure out a way to make it not slanted like the roof otherwise they will roll off just like I had a few things roll off already. I am going to attach the pic of the area I am talking about. Parden the dirty window I have had zippo time to clean lately. I am up for suggestions for ideas on how I can pull this roof top garden off. Thanks in advance. :)💕
