Three hours to high tide by me. Not looking great, but I found this amusing:
I'm watching the tide on a security cam and wondering what are those white things at the front of the boat? I'm thinking maybe garbage bags or shrink wrap hung up on something.
Turns out it's swans.
A whole family. They don't seem too concerned about the weather.
They're probably the only ones.

Stay safeAnnnnndddd the mooring whip is hung up on the tower. Cr@p.
Oh well, nothing I can do about it now. Maybe it will free itself. Maybe if the water recedes I can get on the boat and fix that. Maybe I'll win the lottery.

The good news is the whip wasn't hooked up in the tower, just captive between a couple of the tubes. I added another spring line to try to limit the forward motion, but I think it's going to be a long night.
Also lost a fairly large branch out of the one maple that I thought we could save.
Looks like the property is going to lose most of its foliage soon. Poo.

Hopefully that piece that cleats are in is sunk into something solidLittle tight this morning. Loosened up a bit. Went around with a friend and helped a couple neighbors. Made a few calls to owners and marina folks. Be back later. Told wife may have to overnight lol. Senix probably serving til 11. lol

Was not too bad. Able to loosen pretty easily and adjust. Just in time.Hopefully that piece that cleats are in is sunk into something solid

I'm going to say that's a good thing. Foliage creates a lot of drag. I wish this maple had shed leaves like the other one. The other is in far worse shape, but since it is it's lost a lot of leaves the wind blows right through it.
I'm going to guess the tree with spade shaped leaves is a Northern Catalpa. I've got one that's similar, but more umbrella shaped. However, most of the other ones I've seen are tall and relatively thin.
