Still raining here but wind has settled down.
It's raining 
now,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,for the last couple of hours ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I wonder how true that is I gotta check that out
When I was a kid upstate all the old timers always went by them

My Wooly-Bear story:
First time I took Mrs. Avenger to the family compound upstate, we walk in and start unbuttoning the house. I found a dead mouse in the living room. Her, being a female (my wife, not the mouse) I thought it best that she stay in the other room until I dealt with the offending rodent.
Next thing I hear is repeating demands that I come in because there's "some animal's tail" sticking out behind the couch cushions.
Guess what.
To be fair, we don't have them around here. But I was really surprised she'd never seen, nor heard of them. At least I got to relate all the folklore about the colors and their forecasting abilities.
