Nice weak

They were from 10” to 17”. But last Friday my grandson dropped one 4lbs plus while fishing for porgy’s didn’t expect it.

Fished J Bay today in search of fluke no luck switched over to weakfish and had 20 to 17” on gulp sand worms. Monday was out fishing the flats and there was a school of dolphins working off the beach for about an hour was a sight. Tried downloading a video couldn’t.

Fished the bay again same results as yesterday one keeper at 21”. Had a seal watching us fish.

Fished the bay again today about a dozen shorts and one keeper at 22” beautiful day but just couldn’t get the right drift until the afternoon that when I caught the keeper. Will be out there again tomorrow.

Fished Jamaica Bay today first drift one keeper @20” and then came the winds and more wind against tide. Will give it a try again during the week.

At it again today and finally found the keepers 4 fluke to 21” home by noon.

Took my grandson and first mate out today and had 22 shorts three which were 18 1/2” and one jumbo porgy which made my grandsons day. Be out again tomorrow

Did a 1/2 day trip today and finally found the keepers put 4 in the boat up to 20”. Had a lot of 18” shorts also.

Did a solo trip today fished the incoming where are all the keepers had short action all morning 20+ shorts and one keeper @20” will be back at it tomorrow.

Dished the bay again today with my other half we put 30 plus shorts in the boat and one keeper a 5lbs.

Fish the bay today put about 30 shorts 8. The boat and one keeper at 21”.

Was out this morning same area with about 40 or so boats put one in the boat at 29”.

First trip of year fought the wind and put 4 short fluke in the boat. Water still a little cold 56 . Will be back out next week.

Braved the fog and Fished the bridges of Jamaica bay today had about 25 blacks most of which were between 12”-17 1/2” 4 where keepers. Green crabs and jigs were the ticket. Mo Joe you know what bridge.

Fished J-Bay yesterday had a lot of action 16 shorts all between 16”-18” they were very aggressive chasing the buck tail 3’ off the bottom dropped twice as many. Felt like I was using rubber hooks. LOL.

Yes they do taste good
