    Looks like I'll have the fire going all day today. Decided not go with a zero clearance fireplace in the new house and will have a wood stove installed and take advantage of the 26% tax credit now available. Looking at a Vermont Casting Encore. Never had a top loader before.

    I am burning 24/7 as well. I'm down to four racks which should hold me through April. No collecting for me this winter since we're moving south next fall. I still look at the free firewood on Craig's list I just can't help it (an addiction). Stay warm all spring is not that far away.

    Since I'm moving to VA next year I am not collecting wood for the following winter. Its a very strange feeling. I still look at the craigslist alerts for free firewood though. I just can't help myself it's really an addiction.

    Just started a fire now. This chilly wind really sucks the heat out of the house. I too burned far less this past season. I have close to a cord left over. It looks like a couple more chilly days though so a fire at night will feel good.
