    Finally getting over the bug that's been going around and I can eat again. Decided not to use the clams and keep it lighter. These shrimp were fantastic sauteed up in toasted sesame oil. Also, a really good dose of pepper flakes and spicy peppers to kill the rest of the germs.

    They are perfectly fine. A lot of aquacultured clams have brown striations. If you saw a brown ring on the inside of the clam, that's bad and caused by bacteria.
