Never had these before. Read about them online as being the best out of the Ten Best Cornbread mixes. I made them with butter instead of cooking oil as per the direction choices. I got them at Stop & Shop. They were absolutely fantastic. I pigged out on them last night before bed.

Here's a difference of opinion. What do you think? Two friends. I'm not going to say who's who. One lends the other friend some equipment that's in fantastic condition but it's a few years old. The other one, no fault of his own, unfortunately...
Grilled pork tenderloin, homemade applesauce, breaded asparagus and buttered up mash potatoes. I forgot to put my cornbread in the oven. It's going to be a late night snack.
I was a busy cook yesterday afternoon and evening. I started the night before with dry marinating salmon and bronzino fillets.
While they were drying before smoking I got the smoker ready and started prepping ingredients for a spicy tomato sauce with scungilli over bucatini.
Time to...
Looks great Mo. I love liver. For a while I could not find a place to get it. Stop and Shop now has calves and chicken liver. I find the chicken is easier to handle. The calves liver falls apart. My flour has a good dose of Old Bay. When cooked I put mine on a nice toasted onion roll.
Just got home with the weekend goodies and started the prep work. Look how gorgeous those Bronzinos look. Their eyes are clear and sparkling. While filleting in the house, there wasn't a hint of fish. I plan to pan cook two skinned fillets and smoke the other four along with another salmon...
Cany. Those sausage and peppers looks great. You gave me a dinner suggestion for the weekend. I'm also thinking about getting a few Bronzino and trying them smoked. Did you ever try Koshihikari Gaba Rice. I get it on Amazon. It's pricey but really worth it. Make sure you soak it for at least 1/2...
"clamshell thrust reversers"
Avenger, we are hijacking this thread. One last thing and yes, it's long winded.
You seem to be a real airplane buff. Speaking of thrust reversers, did you ever see a B-727 back out of the gate using just the thrust reversers? It was pretty cool. You just had to...
Size does not always matter with everything. The B-777 is a big airplane but it flies with ease. Basically, fingertip control. I was lucky in my career and got to fly every Boeing after the B-707. Again, the B-777 is my favorite. Yes, I did fly the B-757. It is a very sleek, clean flying...
"Yet, from the cockpit you can really only see the cockpit. Unless you turn around. Then you realize there's a lot of airplane behind you."
Avenger, that is so cool. I'm guessing, but is that #3 from the original planes built. #2 crashed in 1970 just short of the runway at Calverton. Both...
