After a John Skinner presentation at least several years back at WMHS Expo, I went out and got a 6' Tsunami Slimwave and a Daiwa BG2000 (of course he was using more expensive gear) to better enable my usual 3 hours of jigging a bucktail teaser Lep rig without getting carpal...

    Cocktails must be very scattered. I usually get on at least one little blitz in the pequa flats each summer. Great on the grill in marinade when same day ! But lack of any snapper sign not good.

    Granted, haven't been out in two days with the AQ I and thunderstorms, but I also realized I did not catch a single blue or cocktail so far. Terns and cormorants seem busy with baitfish and possibly needlefish, but has anyone seen snappers in the canals and creeks ?
