Comment by 'george' in article 'Forward-Facing Sonar Revolutionizes Blackfish Targeting'

I have a place on a lake in Florida and I too have made the switch to bass fishing. I am always quick to jump on new tech and FF Sonar is beyond a doubt a game changer. I'm learning when and when not to bother using it. But there is no doubt I have caught many more fish because of it. There's a...

I feel like I'm saying that every 2-3 years. Hopefully they can keep my interest. If not, you'll find me fishing :) You too enjoy!

    Jets

OK so another year and as usual opening day injuries and trades rule the day. the Jets lose their all pro tackle to injury and Pitt picks up a prolific pass rusher. Just in time for Sunday! Then again, so far they're undefeated.

It's a terrible feeling to loose something special like that. I still miss Blydenburgh. Thankfully they're rebuilding it, but the loss is real.

You bring up a good point. But I would still be opposed had they no reason to board them.

Is It Time For A separate Boats for Hire category

@Roccus7 You may be shocked to hear this, but I agree with you 100%. Now that I've spent some time in Florida I see how they manage to have fish for everyone year round. If one closes, they always have something else for us to target. They hold "workshops" not "hearings", that basically tell...

Should They Board, or Shouldn't they?

Agreed. Our officers here in NY have the same authority. And to be clear, I'm referring to fishing violations and DEC. Did you look at the other video? It sure says a lot.

Should They Board, or Shouldn't they?

Not true. Managing fisheries in state waters is left to each individual state. Florida just passed a law this year banning it, in part because of an incident where FWC followed anglers to a Walmart parking lot. I posted it below. The search itself starts around the 20 minute mark. Here is...
