    Just read about it. NY Gun laws were recently Amended to include that . I read it on 2 different sites, so it looks good. The Federal DOJ filed briefs in September that are quickly pushing to make assault weapons legal to own in the US , in Every State.

    $23 for a Quart Container of Skimmers out in WEGO. Fished 3/4's of the day on Saturday for Porgies and used less than 1/4 of it. Clams were heavily salted and very tough.

    I drove down to Jones Beach for a drive and to look where they were fishing for fluke.I'm going out tomorrow. Saw a bunch of boats concentrated right off the Construction dock near the Coast Guard Station. It was outgoing tide . At least they're still in the bay.

    When was the last time you saw the DEC stop a moving boat to search it ? I've been out there over 50 years and have never seen a moving boat get stopped. They putt putt around going from boat to boat. Poachers know that.
