    Does flight radar track military? IIRC commercial aircraft operates at about a 35,000’ ceiling………. Private jets up to about 40,000’, and military above that at maybe 45,000’. Radar can differentiate aircraft operating at different altitudes.

    Looks like water vapor from jets. Combine that with very little movement in the upper atmosphere and it won’t dissipate as quickly.

    Agreed. Last year at this time I was in Antarctica. There are real icebergs down there. The largest iceberg we saw was over 10 miles long. And that was a piece that broke off of the largest iceberg in the world, A23a, which is about the size of the state of Rhode Island.

    I have not heard very much of any recreational incidental hooking up of Mako’s since the shutdown about 5 years ago. Some reports here, and there but nothing major. Anyone have any reports since 2021?
