Dorian is likely to miss Florida and then skirt the Outer Banks as a category 2-3 dying Hurricane. Then it will recurve well out to sea and just leave big waves for our area.
Florida dodged a huge bullet. A few days ago, models had it as a category 5...
Had 3 hours to fish the afternoon to sunset a couple days ago out of Debs. We tried 60-70' depths and small hard bottom pieces. Couldn't get away from the Sea Bass. Caught about a dozen keeper sea bass and only scrapped together about a dozen short fluke.
Fished yesterday in western sound after a month off. 40 keeper porgies (released) in 1.5 hours and then we tried a few fluke drifts for 45 mins. Not bad. 10 fluke with one 21” keeper.

The stronger tstorms remained south of NYC. We ended up on the northern fringe but had a good amount of rain. .75"-1.50". Much needed. My grass was turning brown.
