    It asks you to Enter your New York Safe Boating Certificate number. What if you took the Power Squadron course and passed. I have been told that that is sufficient to meet the requirements.

    My friend took the course and passed and has an anchor symbol on his driver’s license. It seems easier to just carry your license. I guess I have to wait until renewal.

    Funny you should say that. I was walking my dog. I saw some young kids walking with poles. I asked them if they were going fishing and what they were going for. To my surprise they said flounders. I asked do you actually catch any. They said they did.
