    Funny - I measured it out on Google Maps...The walk for the path direct to the beach was about a 1/2 mile. If you take the path to the Jetty it's about 2/3 of a mile.     Float Rod for Surf

    Question for you guys, anyone ever tried using a float road out on the surf when the wind is light and the wave action small. Was thinking of giving it a shot to see if it's even possible?
