I personally have never tried dry aged beef but after watching a youtube video felt compelled to order Umai dry ageing bags from amazon. I plan on purchasing a primal rib eye cut from Bj's and give it a 30 day rest in my basement fridge. Tentative start date will be March timeframe so April...- Loonzter

Crystal kitty litter beads?
I read an article regarding kitty litter beads used to humidify your box. It stated that when used in a humidor they worked very well to maintain a 65-70% RH. Curious if anyone here has given it a try? Lord knows the bag you can purchase for 7-10 bucks will certainly last for quite some time. -

Worth a shot, just not convinced wiping it will remove all and not just the visible mold. The box is not totally covered but I thought you had to neutralize it before you reseasoned it. -

Live bait fishing aka livelining.
Not sure it's trash if its biodegradable but I see your point. I never felt bad fileting a sea robin to strip for fluke bait because the rack becomes food for crabs.
