"Scratchy "Reel Noise: Pinion Bearing Replacement or Relube???
All the bearings on the Clash 4000 are sealed.Check the 2 pinion bearings and the main gear`s 2 bearings for dirt or sand/salt. After cleaning them if there is still noise they should be replaced- flounderbound

Taking bets
With the spring flounder and blackfish season opening on April fools day,is anyone taking bets on which of the two species will be in greater abundance in April?Flounder are becoming an endangered species and the spring blackfish joke is in effect another year.I dont think the flounder...- flounderbound

Blackfish regs for 2019
Are there any proposals to change the blackfish regs for 2019/ The 2 "bonus" fish they gave us in April of 2018 was a joke.I seriously doubt if any were caught during that time. I hope they go back to the 2017 regulations and give us 4 fall blackfish to keep.- flounderbound

My favorite fluke set up is my Black Hole Tai rod(slow pitch) with a Shimano curado 50. Not many fluke caught in the western sound but I did get a 6lber last year- flounderbound
