If i had to choose between the SK Ride or a trolling motor, the spot lock wins every time, especially for our area.
If I was an offshore/trolling guy, running 30+ miles a trip, then the SK is more desirable, but to bottom fish or drift, that spot lock trolling motor makes everything so much...
Yes, we are all waiting for their first goal at home, but I am happy with what I see.
Their Defense looks 100% improved over the last few seasons. No more allowing teams in, allowing the shot and then hoping to get the puck. They look like they have a clue now, and are stopping the shot and...
I am curious how much the system would run.
My 24 ft CC doesn't have trim tabs and when the crew shifts around, it becomes an issue. I'm sure the Seakeeper would work wonders, but is it comparable to electric or hydraulic tabs price wise?
Yes, the foul weather gear is my daughter Ally’s. She was working the overnight and not going to make this trip. Her bday is upcoming and wants her shot at topping her personal best.
All 3 of my “kids” love getting on the water, and now my son is getting his GF interested. He is a freshman at...
Had plans with my son and neighbor for saturday morning opening day, when my son asks if his GF Charlotte can join us. I was hesitant because of the looming forecast with building east winds sometime in the early afternoon, but I said sure. Soon after my daughters BF who is a mate at captree...
Just had new Generals installed on my truck.
275/60/20 Grabber HTS 60's.
Paid just under $1K installed and the $100 rebate in the mail.
Bought them from All Weather Tire in Huntington
I also use Sea Insure, and they just sent me a renewal. It is through a different insurance company because my existing insurance company is folding. They gave me the option to stay with my existing one more year, or switch, which I did.
I will say that the original email did not have "Sea...
We got out at 6pm again yesterday, same area. At just past high slack, we ran over 2 keeper fluke, I netted both in one scoop and marked the spot. We short drifted the area a few more times and had decent sized fluke but nothing big enough.
I
I couldn't get the bass that were keyed in on the sand eels to bite anything, besides the chucks later on in a different spot.
Went again yesterday....much slower action but 2 Keepers from in front of Crab Meadow, and a couple of short weakfish along Ashroken.
Finally back on the water.
Went out for a quick after work trip on monday with my son and his girlfriend. Planned on heading to the Nissy, but the swarm of diving birds by Crab Meadow diverted my attention. Went sent our fluke rigs down from 12-20 ft at high slack, with the decent SW wind...
Whatever direction the team goes in, it better include a new defensive mindset and coach! Allowing opposing teams the blueline on every entry, hoping to block a shot and then trying to spring the offense on an odd man break does not work. It usually leads to another shot against Igor.
Coach...
Game is on TNT tonight, with Sam and JD calling the game like the old days.
Unfortunately, I will be at the game with work, so I can't even look forward to some "Oh Baby's"
Time for the rebuild......put JD back in charge!
I don't know why you would disregard the Ram 1500. I bought a '14 back in 2020 with 45K on the clock, found it on Craigs list of all places. It's been solid for me since with 135K on it now and only one time in the shop for a leaking tranny line (thanks Cany). Mine is a basic model, with the 5.7...
