    Huge game tonight at the Coliseum as Isles have a chance to eliminate the very good Penguins. Gotta keep riding Sorokin and hope the PP and Barzal can chip in something in Game 6 to move on. Not gonna be easy we will see. I'll be there rooting for them. LGI!

    Yeah seems like a solid little reel. Looking at my spinners I do have another spinner for Tog so think I'm just putting 10lb test on this and go have some light tackle fun.

    I received the Penn Battle 3 2500 DX as a Christmas gift. Does anyone else have one? Seems like a very nice well built reel. I think I'm gonna use it for Fluke and the few times I jig for Tog.

    Causeway Bait and Tackle had the Harriers in stock. Also check out the Tsunami spinner for the same money there is a 7' H but it's not heavy at all TSSPJ-S701H and the shorter one at 6'6" MH TSSPJ-S661MH. All 3 have a nice extended butt end to tuck under your arm for some extra leverage...

    Great discussion I will post up my 3 set up I take when I'm on a friends boat or limited charters. For 1-3 oz a Phenix UMBX 8-17 with a quantum Accurist. Next set up for up to 5 oz CTS BJ 700L with an Accurist and for 5+ I go with CTS BJ 701 with a Tranx 200.

    The high hook that is threaded through doesn't drop down on top of the tied hook to cause a tangle?

    I as well as several guys i know use as small as a diamond jig you can get down. Go real light with a spinner outfit 10lb braid to give you as little resistance as possible through the water column and have fun.

    Roccus thanks I'll take a look. The grip material doesnt bother me so much. I used to use/get only cork on my customs love the feel. But I also had a few made with x grip on 2 tog sticks and like it a lot. Also my last custom a beautiful cts 700L I went with Winn grip with a split rear...

    Looking for suggestions for a light spinning rod for up to 2oz. Not togging with this rod I have my 7' Tsunami 701h for that so this can be real light. This will be for tossing small bucktails, leadheads etc. No customs looking to keep it under $150 and a longer rear butt preferably 12"...
