Anyone have one of these light spinners? Seem like real nice blanks to toss bucktails or leadheads. 6'6" with a long rear butt to tuck under your arm for some additional leverage if needed. Throw a little 1000 or 2000 teel your all set.

Cts are great blanks. I have the bj700L that would be very nice as a spinner and I know a friend really likes the bj700xl. I use my cts bj701 as a conventional and love it.

Beautiful color combo on the rod Savvy. Richie does some great work and those UC blanks are very nice. What application do you use it for?

Saw the Battle 3 series today at Trophy Tackle. Appears to be a solid choice at an affordable price range at $115 for the 2000 which has the larger paddle handle. The 1000 has the small round knob.

Rod, for blackfish I have 35lb Cortland Blackspot on my reels. I always use lighter stuff 20lb and under for fluke. Love the feel of the 832 in 10 or 20lb. Put 20lb x9 on my spinner and just dropped 15 x9 on a new Accurist I just got and will try next spring/summer. I liked the feel of...

Running around today stopped by and saw the Nexus H in a spiral wrap. Rated 2-6 oz seemed a little light for the purposes but I'll stop out when I'm in the road with a reel this week and drop a 10 oz on it see how it feels.
