    I know of 2 fish in the 50" class that have been caught in the bay. More than last 3 years! It's surprising because the fall had no shortage of big fish. on the flip side, there was also a big body of smaller fish 22-26" late fall towards the close.

    Yes it's a fluke. Ironically, there's a sewer outflow across from the pier marked by a cement structure. In the 80s, it was loaded with flounder. Spot was called the cement block. Was a joy to fish that area back then!
