    Pete21, that is a question only you can answer. I have personally leaned on the rod a few times and it's what I would describe as a heavier/deeper fluke jigging rod or a light blackfish stick. I'm a big fan of jigging sea bass, so I'd also use it for that purpose. No matter what I think...
