The Point Lookout page says the max temperature in the last 24 hours was 119 degrees. Also, the peak wind gust was 147 mph. I don't think I would trust their 33 degree seawater temperature reading.
I got the same email. You are probably right. Another reg on the way for a battery operated CO detector in every cabin. BTW, with a stern wind, a cabin could still fill with CO from an outboard or any system that exhausts through or at the stern.
