    I am getting Quadra Fire Discovery 1 for the new house. It's a smaller stove but my heating needs will be less. Great tax credit currently available for price of stove plus installation of chimney and hearth.

    Yes we're going with the builder Beracah from Delaware and am combining the Greenville (2 boxes) and Greenwood (1 box) models with a bonus room upstairs. Will be so nice having a nice tight home.

    I was in there Thurs and Fri and wasn't bad at all. I did spray my legs for ticks but no issues with flies or skeeters fortunately.

    Just started clearing our land and have rented a place in town for the winter while the home gets built. First the forestry mulch and the trees come next.

    Looks like I'll have the fire going all day today. Decided not go with a zero clearance fireplace in the new house and will have a wood stove installed and take advantage of the 26% tax credit now available. Looking at a Vermont Casting Encore. Never had a top loader before.

    I am burning 24/7 as well. I'm down to four racks which should hold me through April. No collecting for me this winter since we're moving south next fall. I still look at the free firewood on Craig's list I just can't help it (an addiction). Stay warm all spring is not that far away.

    Since I'm moving to VA next year I am not collecting wood for the following winter. Its a very strange feeling. I still look at the craigslist alerts for free firewood though. I just can't help myself it's really an addiction.
