Another question to ponder.....
When using spot lock for night time chunking bass for example...am I using my red/green nav lights because technically im under power, or should I not confuse those around us and use the anchored white light?
I use the white 360 light to avoid night time...
Got lucky to find a replacement motor for my ride. Quick trip to VB to pick it up, spent a few days last week removing and installing and Sat was sea trial day. Broke inlet @7:30 with my son and daughter onboard. Stopped inclose and drowned some crabs for shorts well as a keeper tog and cbass...
Nice....surprised it took that long for the big boy to kick.
We've all seen tog flopping on the table hours after being put in the bucket.
Congrats on a great day of catching!
I am heading south friday afternoon....Norfolk
Picking up a pair of 200 HPDI's....one ready to go, one needs work. Great price so I took both, but I also have to remove them from the boat they are on.
Hopefully have the good one installed before next weekend.
Going to have plenty of spare parts!
With my boat out of commission, (hopefully for not too much longer), I leaned on fellow amigo Koz and twisted his arm to take the day and try and repeat past years success. The phenomenal weather was the kicker and off we went armed with greens and Asian crabs that I flipped rocks for the day...
Whoa...slow your roll big boy
I didn't know AG3 went by the name "Nobody"

She started fine at the house and the ramp. Ran her for a few minutes, and shut it off as we drifted.
Started again, and ran another 10 minutes, off and drifted.
Ran her again for 10 minutes to the bass spot and shut her off...no issues.
She wouldn't...
Got out with T Mac, and the kids. Wanted to send Sammy off to college with one more memory. Tried some fluking between crab meadow and the stack, and then infront of Eatons….shorts, robins and scup kept us entertained until the sun started to get low, so we anchored up and dunked some Cow Harbor...
Finally got a chance to wet a line on Friday after work. My neighbor picked up some fresh bunker form Cow Harbor, and we hit the Sound with my buddy T-Mac and my daughter.
We gave sea bass a shot around the deeper slopes of 11b but only had little porgies harassing us…so with the sun going down...
Last month I was boarded. I noticed the boat about a mile away, but didn't think much. About 1/4 mile away I picked it back up as I was reeling up to rebait because it was coming right for us. I made a quick comment to my buddy about someone not paying attention. 5 seconds later I was starting...
