    If I'm using my heavy setup, it's 50lb braid to 50lb mono with an Alberto knot. Ill rip off 5-6' of mono and at the bottom tie a surgeon's knot to slip my sinker on. From the top of the sinker I'll go 4 fingers high and form a bight in my leader material and pass my pre-tied hook through the...

    I see a lot of people plasti dip their sinkers. Is it more to stop the sinkers from bouncing off the gunnels or like painting like we used to for flounder.
